50 Club 01233 740099

Welcome

Our Agricultural and Horticultural Employment division known as the ‘50 Club' was established in 1998 as a specialist consultancy to provide farmers and growers with support in the ever-changing world of employment law.  BTF took over what is now referred to as the 50 Club Horticultural Employers' Association in January 2006, with Colin Hall heading the team.

The aim of the association is to provide members with practical assistance with employment issues, by identifying items which will effect the employment of staff, and to offer reasoned solutions to clients in order to assist business decisions. In addition to individual member support, the 50 Club is also tasked with identifying new legislation, highlighting particular issues of concern and continued lobbying of Government and stakeholders on various topics concerning employment.

As a former Chief Legal Adviser to the NFU, Colin Hall has broad experience in the field of agricultural/horticultural employment law and policy which fits in well with the 50 Club's broad remit.
